In 2007 I also lost my son to a hit and run driver. Lossing a child is the hardest thing I have had to go through but God and Friends have really helped. My prayers are with your family. God Bless.
We are friends of Clair and parents ourselves. I know it must be extremely hard to continue to share Reid's story, but I will be praying that it will continue to impact lives. It is a reminder to us as parents to stay focused while on the road- our little girls depend on it. Gods blessings to the family
Leigh, I have thought of Reid so many times, all the time he would come over and go swimming with Tiffani. I remember after she transfered to ECI and he transfered she was so excited one of her best friends was with her again. I think it is awsome what you are doing. And trust me Reid lives on Forever in our hearts. Love Dana And Girls.
I open this message up with sympathy and a Thank You for the encouraging words given at J.R. Trippe middle school. I am currently a student in 8th grade and look forward to being able to drive pretty soon...in many Christian clubs, we get the opportunity to pray for the things that we see is leading to a poor future for the up coming generation. I pray that God protect those who decide to drink and drive...we also have a young society that decribe cell phones as a CANT LIVE WITHOUT material!!!... The purpose of this program, as a read, is to reach out to teenagers and let them know that it could happen to anybody...WELL, it has made me think about the many things that i would like to do in life...:) May God bless this family and i pray that you grow stronger and stronger from a hurting loss.
I googled and found your site. My heart breaks for you. I am sending this to my daughter away at College. Her dad is signing his truck over to her this week. I am so afraid of what could happen out there. May God Bless you and give you strength.
I was looking in the paper at the dogs for sale (Beaufort Gazette). I saw the url and decided to take a look...I love dogs of all breeds. I am truely sorry for your loss. I am a mother of 2 a daughter 22 and son 17. Both of which have had very serious accidents but ONLY by the grace of God are they still alive. I am sure texting and phone usage were involved. Please continue to get your story out...Hopefully it will reach one teenager (or adult)and saves their life! God Bless you and your family!
I saw someone today that told me the story of the night your son died. It took all I could do not to break down and cry. I have a 17 yr old son and I pray every time he leaves the house that God will bring him home safe to me. I can't imagine the pain you & your family have endured. Thank you for taking the time to make a difference and let every teenager know it CAN happen to them. May God continue to bless you and the work that you are doing.
